DAY BY DAY ITINERARY

Day 1: Dehradun to Sankri

Highlights: Scenic drive through Mussoorie, Naugaon, Purola, Overnight stay in Sankri.

Pickup: Dehradun Railway Station at 8:00 AM

Meals: Tea-Snacks and dinner

Drive: 210 km by (9-hours)

Altitude: 1,950m/6,4000

Trekkers will be picked up in a Tempo Traveler, Bolero, similar vehicle

Expected arrival time at Sankri: 5:00 PM (approx)

Elevation: 8,900 to 9,100.

Highlights: Dense pine forests, beautiful meadows, and Juda ka Talab

Accommodation: Tents

The trek starts with a gradual ascent through dense forests of pine and maple.

En route, trekkers will pass through small streams and meadows.

Juda ka Talab is a beautiful high-altitude lake surrounded by pine and oak trees.

Camp setup near the lake.

Overnight stay in tents.

Elevation: 9,100 to 11,250

Highlights: Expansive meadows, snow-capped peaks, and Kedarkantha Base Camp offering stunning views.

Accommodation: Tents

The trek continues through dense forests and meadows. Trekkers will experience a gradual ascent with some steep sections. Views of snow-capped peaks become more prominent.

Reach Kedarkantha Base and set up camp

Overnight stay in tents.

Elevation: 11,250 to 12,500 (Summit) and back to 8,900 (Hargaon)

Highlights: Early morning summit climb, panoramic views of the Himalayas, descent to Hargaon Camp.

Accommodation: Tents

Meals: Breakfast and lunch included, dinner excluded.

Descend from Juda ka Talab to Sankri through the same route.

Enjoy the last views of the beautiful forests and meadows.

Upon reaching Sankri, freshen up and have lunch.

Drive back to Dehradun in the same vehicle.
Drop-off at Dehradun Railway Station in the evening, marking the end of the trek.
