Chandrashila

Chandrashila is the summit above Tungnath temple in India. It means “Moon Rock”. It is located at a height of about 3,690 metres.This peak provides views of the Himalayas, including Nandadevi, Trisul, Kedar Peak, Bandarpunch and Chaukhamba peaks.

DAY BY DAY ITINERARY

Day 0: Departure from Delhi

Journey starts at night from Delhi, reach our pickup point at the allotted time & move to Rudraprayag via Rishikesh.

Overnight drive to Chopta.

Enjoy a break at Devprayag to witness the beautiful "Sangam" of the Bhagirathi and Alaknanda river and Dhari Devi Temple darshan.

In afternoon reach at chopta base. Take rest or explore the site.

Have dinner and enjoy the bonfire.

Overnight stay.

Wake up early in the morning & soak your eyes with the beautiful sunrise views, peeping from the mountains.

After having a delicious breakfast, head towards Tungnath Chandrashila trek which is the highest "Shiva Temple" in the world.

After mild trekking of 5 km, reach Tungnath temple located on the snowy mountains & convey you devotion at the highest abode of "Lord Shiva".

Start the journey to the most astonished Chandrashila peak, to soak your eyes with the panoramic views of the mountain peaks.

Wake up in the morning at around 8:00 AM to find yourself in the laps of the mountains.

Grab a scrumptious breakfast and Check-out the base.

Head towards Deoria Tal trek and enjoy the view.

Have a tea break and heads towards Delhi.
